Half-Life decay

has any one ever played this it is the second story line on the playstation1 or 2 version of half original. I think it fits in with some of the strange event's of half-life one and two but i am not sure it is an official part of the series.

I've heard about this game, but I never played it.

I don't think it is a part of the main plot for Half-life.

I played it and yes it's actually good. I wish it was released for the PC. Basically you play the person who pushed the sample into the test chamber for Gordon to get. You of course do a lot more then that though. Similar to Opposing Force and Blue Shift. It's just as important as a storyline and it's Co-op.

You play as Gina Cross and Collette green, one is the women from the training program and the other is some random person. Its co op on the PS2 version, like Kschreck said...its actually not bad if you want a quick bit of fun.

Theres a few puzzles, not entirley taxing but as you'd expect they require both of you to cooperate (get it, co op....), i dunno whether you can go through it on your own.

Dr Rosenburg from Blue shift is in there, you see how he gets captured and so on. And the final level is rock hard. Unbelievably rock hard.

I haven't played Decay, but in response to Anoma|ous's post, I believe that the there's a bonus mission in Decay where you play as a Vortigaunt. Googling... Yep. Complete all 9 levels of Decay with an A rank and you unlock a 10th level in which you play as a Vort. There's a cheat code for it too.

Thats the PS2 version of half life, and yes thats where decay is, on the disc ;)

Didn't someone say they would make a mod in Source of this Decay add-on? Oh, it's the link in the previous post :D. Silly me. :D
