They are working on a similar project for the PSP http://www.psp-linux.org/ although it's very early in development. I can't imagine Linux running well on the DS's extremely weak hardware but I guess Linux is resiliant under very limited hardware. The PSP will be able to run it quite a bit better though.

I honestly think it will run like shit on both.
But its the effort of trying to stick Linux on everything electrical that counts :P

Also, isn't the hacking or "Reverse-Engineering" of various game system gubbins (Such as the Cart) against the EULA / Various laws and therefore illegal?

So putting Linux on the DS/PSP is illegal because of the reverse engineering.

Or am I wrong?
