Well.....this is officially a "what in the name of GOD are they thinking thread".

The live-action Metroid movie is coming soon as most of you know. Until recently it lacked a script and a director.

I'm speechless to be honest....they named Uwe Boll as the director and a script was penned that is not like the game. I want to cry. I seriously feel tears coming.....why does this shit always happen??

I'm not going to rant, but how many awful movies does this guy have to make before studios simply stop hiring him?? What does it take?? This is not House of the Dead he's about to massacre, this is a beloved video game franchise.... :angry: . And what is so difficult about the Metroid story?? Goddamit.

So if I get this straight, Samus is going to be played by a mexican girl, she's going to be a scientist on Earth, and the Space Pirates and Chozo are not involved in any way? And the director himself said he hates the gamecube because the games are too juvenile? ::vomits:: :x

I found it amusing...at least one guy replied in some kind of anger over Uwe Boll's next project....lol.
