I just bought Worlds of Warcraft, Max Payne 2(picked it up for $7 :D ), and MAGIX musik maker 2005 deluxe. and a new hard drive \0/
Ive already beaten and traded-in Payne 2(had the Xbox version), and have previously owned Musik Maker.
[Regarding WoW]
In WoW, what server is everyone on?
what is your favorite character?
What is the best character for beginers?
What is the smoothest, reliable server?
What is your main's name?
Cheers

I think WoW still limits you to what server you can use.. can't it? It was the other week when I was asking about that.

Hrmm.
I was thinking it would rock if people from this forum could be on the same server.
Haven't installed it yet...
Be back later.

1. Crushridge
2. Night Elf Hunter
3. Any character is good for beginners, i'll give you one tip though. Make sure you loot everything on the corspes. I didn't do that with my first character and i was poor :(.
4. I have no idea
5. Opus, lvl 35 Night Elf Hunter.
Here are some tips
Use Enchanting as your main profession. That stuff sells like crazy at Ironforge.
Make sure you keep upgrading your skills and professions. I'm a leatherworker and when i was at about lvl 14 i really slacked off with my leatherworking, now i'm a lvl 35 and i'm only at 178 whilst others at my level are at 215.
Start saving for your mount at lvl 30.
And finally, for any special items that you don't need, sell them at the Auction House in Ironforge. Quick way of making a few gold.
Oh and TDE: It doesnt limit you to what server you can play on. The only limits are that on a PVP server, you can't have characters on both the Horde and the Alliance. It has to be one or the other.

My fave races are Tauren and Dwarf. Gnomes are good fun too :)
Try out a few classes - do you want to be an uber hard fighter, or a magic user? (priest and druid are my choice)

Yeah I was hoping for the same thing, a hl2.net guild where we could wage war with other sites and groups. Would have been tons of fun. But apparantly from what I was told before, when you start a character, their kinda tied to that server or something, so you can't just switch your character to another one later, if they make playing on any server possible. Which would mean everyone starting from scratch again which could be boring for a lot of people, especially those who'd got really far already.

We've allready made that... Unfortunately it's European only (anthough I've heard soon americans will be able to make characters on our servers and vice versa), on the server Bladefist.
We're called OOTC- Order of the Crowbar- and we've got somewhere around 20 members now (not including alternates). We would have loads of members if we actually advertised, but instead we only let in people who we know.

For choosing characters, it's really based on what style you prefer. If you want twitch gameplay, go rogue. If you like being a meat shield, be a warrior. If you want to blow shit up, go mage (frost mage ftw). It's really up to you.
