What is the difference between HL1 and HL1:source? Did they redo HL1? Im so confused

Very Little valve just added ragdolls for the npcs, skyboxes and hl2 water effects
the visual style, game and ai were left unchanged

Yes. HL: S does not look all that different from the original. BM: S will look as good as HL2 looks, i.e. an order of magnitude better, which is why its so anticipated :)

Hmm... well, if they enhanced the HL1:Source's graphics... its well worth buying.

Vorac1ous, for HL2 I bought the plain jane version with Alyx on the cover. For hl1 , I bought the combo version with all the games in it.
