OMG!!! BLINK TOTALY CANT SPLIT UP!! you guys have been around since i was born and i have always been a fan! i hate this. i was seriously balling my eyes out when i heard about it! my first concert was to see you guys and you totaly kicked ass. now i wont ever be able to see you EVER again. ahhhhhh!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! this isnt right. it would be one thing if like green day splitted up but NOT BLINK 182! your my bands. you kick on all of your cd's. i would pay you a gazzilion dollars for you to stay together and have your family go on your tours. im like crying right now while im typing this. this really sucks ass. my world just ended today. im going to turn gothing and start cutting my self all because blink 182 is splitting up. well not really but it seems like it. im UBER MAD. this isnt cool at all. aww im such a dedicated fan. i have all your guy's cds, shirts, and even a button!! wow. im sooooooo mad. i really really really really really really really really hope that you dont officially split. im such a huge fan, i think that im going to get a huge blink symbol tattood on my back! wow im sounding really retarded but i die so that blink 182 would not quit. ok im done

From that website:

So sounds like they are just taking a break and may be getting back together after awhile.

sure i thought things were goin wrong a while back cos they kept cancelling tour dates and it became even worse when they started on 'side' projects...thats ALWAYS a bad sign in my book.

And pretty damn good ones at that. Murderdolls, Stone Sour, havent heard any of Sid's solo stuff as DJ Starscream.

Only modern mainstream "punk" band thats any good is Green Day, and I must admit they're pretty damn good. The rest can go to hell, especially Good Charlotte.

It's funny, you'd think they would have run out when they hit 30... apparently some people really don't evolve past a 15 year olds mind set

And in all honesty I thought had broken up a long time ago. Christ they're terrible.

As for the drummer... AQUABATS. HELL YES.
