hmm.. Sorry but for once I can't think of anything positive to write. It's a screenshot from valve with a scaled up system font. And thats all.

Maybe try brighten it up a bit, change the colors and look to get a different feeling from it?

Dude... give your writing some SERIOUS antialiasing... nothing makes it look worse than all of those "choppy" letters.

I believe he intended it to be that way....ummmm....still a very bad font...
