Does anyone actually take the grammys seriously? No better than the Oscars IMO.

I watched about fifteen seconds of it while walking past the TV to get a glass of iced tea. Even at that distance and for such a short time, I suffered permanent brain and ear damage.

All I can remember, from the combined three minutes that I watched, is that Green Day won some sort of Album of the Year award ( \:D/ ) and that they did one of those really stupid five-song segues. Didn't like that at all.

How many awards do they give out at this ceremony? I heard of a rapper getting 10 nominations and Ray Charles getting 6...

The Grammy awards are a freakin' waste. I don't think anybody really gives a shit about them any more.

Jennifer Lopez has exhibited to us all that she can no longer sing in any particular key or rhythm. Aside from that, everything else was well.. also lame.

I think what they try to acomplish is a oscar type of thing, but really, who cares if they win a grammy or not, it has the same importance as an Mtv award. They'll never get such prestige like the oscars do.

Yeah jennifer lopez is NOT broadway material. That performance was so lame it seem like some sort of mexican soap opera.
