Hi people. i have compleated HL2 and loved it. now i want to mess around but i dont understand something. the god mode cheat, why does it say server only. what is that. thanx ppl :afro:

Maybe that you have to be the one running the game/server in order to enable cheats? Type sv_cheats 1 in console first, then god. Cheats don't work unless you enable them first. :)

ok, but what is up with serverAs a client on somebody elses server, you cannot enable god mode for obvious reasons. It can only be turned on at the server level. Cheats can only be set on the server.
When you play single player, you are your own server.

And an other thing, try not to use this form of talking. Complete sentences are more sexy, cool and easier to understand for people like me, who doesn't speak english very well.
