The Arcade Fire on Conan

Earlier tonight, The Arcade Fire performed on Late Night with Conan O'Brien. Did anybody else catch it? Think that they were absolutely amazing? Any idea what song they played?

Conan gave a very personable, human monologe on his experiences with Johnny Carson. I'm glad I got to see that.

Arcade Fire was,. different. I'm not really down with the all the strings/etc. But what was with those guys in the crash helmits?

They definitely raised my eyebrow a bit, until I realized that, essentially, two people were in the band for the sake of hitting shit with with drumsticks, the helmets included.
