Neurons? Tubes? you decide!

This is just a little something i was fiddling around, and fortunately it evolved into a rather nice desktop image if i do say so myself. it's still a work in progress so don't smack me upside the head and inform me of my nubly-ness.

C&C welcomed and appreciated.

oh, and this was inspired originally by some 3d neurons i saw in a discovery channel program.

maybe with a couple more tubes or some particles or something.

this is weird... i've crossed that barrier... the barrier between the people who say "cool work man, this is my new desktop." and the people who create the image itself. i mean, this is a whole new level of something that i've just entered.. it's like i've just exited the womb or something... cool.

I would invert teh picture :D a black background would look better ! never mind you already...

I like the second colour scheme best and the black background and the one with more neuron thingies. Put them all together, put a nice background using some filters (easy enough) and ta-da! You can stop messing around with the same image and make something decent :P

But I like it anyway :D
