Hey this is another `unreal production! LOL sorry, music producer mode there.

This is something I done during a burst of inspiration. This is of Adriana Lima (supermodel) who is really hot. I mean, superhot. BUT i didn't draw her in this instance because I found her 'sexually attractive', I just find her face in the original picture is incredibly beautiful, something that only God could create.

Slightly more difficult than I thought, took roughly 1 hr 30 mins to draw. Still needs finishing touches (why i haven't signed it yet) so its about 95% complete.

BTW CRAP QUALITY PENCIL USED lol. Seriously, I got the pencil from a £1 store, a pack of 25 pencils haha. It didn't even have any writing on it, not even HB or anything.

Sorry for the poor pics, taken with my windows smartphone.

Suggestions and improvements are welcome :D

Edit: LOL OMG I can spot 3 errors on this drawing (1 obvious too)

Nice. I'd like to see something done with nice pencils now. I wish I could draw.

That looks pretty cool. You do need to get a scanner though :)

Very very nice :) Great pencil work.

The only thing that really stands out is the nose, the shapes there, but you just seem to have enlarged it a little, and the only other problem I can see right now is the lips are off to the side :)

Don't get me wrong, a great piece of work ;)

Keep it up

EDIT: In fact, the nose aint too big at all, but for some reason my attention keeps being drawn to it lol :E

Why do people with great talents always lacked scanner? :(

hehehe thanks alot :D:D you guys are prob the only people i get appreciation from, so it cheers me right up

The main problem that i noticed, was the eye positioning - i needed to put the right eye slightly higher in order to make a more 'slanted' look to her face. I also need to adjust the lips, make them more at an angle too. After fixing that, the nose shouldn't look too big since its given a more correct perspective. But the picture is too detailed to mess around with it now, so I will just leave those parts as it is :)

Ok sorry for the double post, but i dont want to spam the topic too much for every piece i do, so heres some art homework i just did. As boring as it sounds, i *TRIED* to attempt photorealism lol. and OMG i finally got a better pencil - i found it in my lil brothers pencil case, its tattered but it says HB on it :D

As always, taken with the cam on my Smartphone. Btw this is no advertising scheme, and neither are the coke bottles. Hey, it was my assignment which i always leave until the night before.

BY THE WAY i might aswell point out now, that these pictures may look slighty rushed. For you see, i basically lose interest/patience roughly 1/3 through every drawing i do ;D

Ah yes, helpful comments

I can see lots of line strokes, and it does look kind've jagged, but maybe that's just me. Plus that comes with a pencil drawing anyway so meh. Also try a smoother surface because I can see some texture coming through the drawing...

LOL thanks all, i will search for a 2B pencil, but all my life i have just picked up any pencil and used it. I aint a big drawer, i am only doing this lately because its my college Art coursework.

The texture is also the art book :@ so i cant do much about that. Thanks for the helpful comments all :)

I'm not so good at drawing humans....if you know what I mean...:D

Druckles
21-01-2005, 06:11 PM
I can do it fine, as long as the human has some kind've deformaty, big pole sticking through it's face, chopped in half, bleeding, or dying in most other kinds of forms
