Stuff I see, it is of course the main sense of our body, and of course, it's the most likely to inspire art (of any forms). I of course, don't usually get inspiration, I just do :P

Watching other peoples art and listening to music. The mood of the music often greatly affects the mood of whatever I'm drawing.

Also, what people say and do. Because what they do puts you in your mood, hence your drawings. If you're depressed, you bring out grunged, burning, suffering, melting etc. people

Seeing a quality bit of work makes me strive to better it, and listening to music really does help inspire me, music which creates certain imagery in me head when I listen to it just gets me in the mood to draw whatever it is I'm picturing :)

Im usually inspired by what happens in my life. One of the biggest current inspiration sources for me is my family i miss who live in Philippines, and my love whos now in Japan :( also seeing really talented people inspires me to try. So i will guess I will pick 1 :D

I often draw things to come to terms with something I've previously failed to describe in a literary sense- it's much easier to draw something and then dictate it's boundaries in a document.

I usually draw purely for entertainment, and what I draw depends on my mood or perhaps what I've seen during the day- but once or twice I've drawn images for other people. I'd like to say "for high quality gifts" but mostly just to prove to myself that I can draw something half-decent if I put my mind to it.

It's interesting how many people said music was a source of inspiration- I often listen to music when I write but not, for some reason, when I draw. Strange that...

Music. I listen to music when I draw. Like CH said, it really can decide the mood or style of your drawing.

Also, a good action movie or video game can get me pumped, and I just want to draw. I like those moments.

Dreams and music are my muse...i know it's rather strange, but when i'm dreamning i can see strange things...since i love strange and bizarre things, i like the same style in music too.

One of my strangest dream was the bleeding eyes of Sam Fisher.
That dream was dark and creepy..lol i think i saw the icon of darkness.

Yes, i agree with all of you guys...music is one of the best inspirations. But dreams are even more "deeper" lol imo.

I'm inspired by Half-Life 2... some computer games like that really can inspire me. The game Marathon, mostly.

I also get a lot from my dreams(since it seems like my dreams do all the work for me). But mostly, I get inspired from my own sadness and depression. Which sucks, when you're a happy person like me. ^_^

I realize now what really inspires me, artists better than myself!

I see some sweeto picture, by some awsome artist, and Im like, I want to be able to draw that good!

and then I go on a drawing spree drawing all sors of stuff, alot of it really cool.

I fall into a lull when I have no competiotion, Its wierd.

I'm always really inspired by the work in progress side of things, like if I see a making of for a movie, or an in-studio look at musicians or something. Seeing how enthusiastic everyone is, and the effort they put in to getting over all the hurdles and everything that goes into making the final product, it really makes me want to do something big (for a while ;)).
