Is it a little over kill on the sneaking about? Ive neevr been very good at sneaky tactics :/ prolly why I never liked Thief. :D

The stealth aspect is really fun, I think. It's not like Thief or Splinter Cell, because enemies either see you or don't (if you're hidden, the screen turns blue). It's a lot more fluid and fast-paced, and flows with the action elements really well. :) It certainly didn't feel like overkill, because it all feels natural. But yes, sneaking around is a big part of the game, if that's what you're asking. It's just not as slow or tedious as it tends to be in other games where stealth is the main focus, whereas here it's just another feature implemented really well.

I dont really like the gun combat, stealth, or hand to hand combat. But I still love the game.

This is exactly the direction I wish developers like ID would move, let us explore and talk to people. Its like a first person rpg, but there are no stats or levels.

Ehh. Its good but the combat and stealth moments are pretty run-of-the-mill stuff. The fist-fighting was good though

Its a great game actually. Not only does it have the visual oomph but it also has some cool gameplay. Breaking someones neck couldn't be more satisfying. I like the prison atmosphere.

The only thing that I don't like is the fact that it crashes from time to time when loading up a new area. Im not sure if that happens to a lot of people or just me. I assure you that its not my graphics card though (ATi X800 XT PE). Maybe it dislikes my AA and AF settings. :hmph:

the game has serious issues with running without sp2. or with it. About 10% of people cant even start the game at all. warned.

Sneaking around isn't a big part of the game but it's definitely the smarter way to play. Walk into a room, shoot out the lights, and turn on your glowy eyes thing so you can see while they can't. Just try not to let them shine their flashlight in your face.

:) I like this game. I really like how they did a lil simulation for prison, the models look great and the voice and character acting was neato. But, it still felt like it was too confined, i'm talking about like the parts where you're in the cells and prison yards and stuff. I know the whole place was basically a prison.

yeah its very good but be prepared for very little shooting,there is a section at the beginning-middle part but after that you dont get a weapon(a decent 1) for awhile a loooooooong while,you get to control mechs and stuff too,also the final part where you get a gun(cooly its broken and only holds half clips)is sorta ruined by havin these terrible lookin aliens that look like beatles or sumit(god i hated that part,felt like fc when you get to the trigen sections :angry: )which put me off the game for awhile,i just hate these parts in fps's,its very short too but worth a buy
