Fable?

A few months ago there was so much talk about this XBOX RPG called fable. Then it got released and the world was covered in silence. Was it a major dissapiontment?

It lasted for about 8 hours or thereabouts, so I guess it was a disappointment

It's not that it's bad, it's just that it doesn't last very long. I beat it in 20 hours of game time, in which I took my time and fooled around a good bit, and now I really don't have the desire to play through it again.

I got my money's worth out of it, but it is one the short-side, especially for an RPG.

It was a good game but it didnt include a lot of the things that were originally promised to make sure the game would be released ! (after being in devolepment for ever!) Making it a sort of dissapointment.

Great disappointment. You can beat the game in 8 hours. The plot isn't to good. And once you beat it...you never wanna play it again. Oh well. If there's ever a sequel, they better make it better.

I'm pretty sure it sold pretty well (mainly because the Xbox is so starved for PRGs) so there will most likely be some sort of sequel.

I was extremely excited about this game. It was supposed to be the greatest RPG ever, if you listened to what Molyneux had to say. When I got it, I beat it in 8 hours. I guess when you think of it as an Action/Adventure game, it's alright. Regardless, I thought the game was shit. I vowed never to buy a Peter Molyneux game until multiple friends get it and tell me that it's good.

Well i really enjoyed, despite the talk of a disapointment, but like many have said, its way too short.

I thought it was an excellent game, but then again I bought it because it got good reviews, I hadn't heard any of the hype. It's not that it's too short- I find that the games main flaw was that the world wasn't very big. it felt like just a bunch of levels chained together with loading times rather than an actual living world... but everything else was utterly amazing.
