Surf maps are the new big thing in cs 1.6, im beginning to become a pro surfer :D

Surf maps are maps with giant waves made out of stone that you basically slide on with your player and you can do all kinds of neat tricks and gain lots of speed and whatnot, very fun stuff.

Yeah but I don't play cs 1.6 anymore, it's not that I don't like it. It's that when I press find servers that it only finds css servers, I even go to the filters and my cs 1.6 is somhow set to find css severs and not 1.6. so if I want to swith servers I have to exit cs 1.6, then go to servers and find it there and click there.

From the tips in my MapPack:
1.) To surf, jump or walk onto one of the curved walls (hereby referted to as "ramps"). Then simply hold strafe (Default are the A and D keys).
This will glitch out the physics and cause you to glide along the walls.
2.) While surfing, NEVER press up, down, or courch; pressing those will cause you to slide off the wall and fall,
which in 99% of surf maps will cause you to instantly die.
3.) To change direction (in order to make it to the next ramp), simply press the direction you wish to go, BEFORE
flying off of your current ramp.
4.) Surfing takes pratice, so don't be discouraged if you don't get it right the first time.
5.) Yes, all surf maps CAN be completed with normal gravity (800) and normal airaccelerate (10). So don't think
that it isn't possible.

Other Tips:
1.) Don't spawn camp and shoot people surfing away - This is extreemly annoying and makes it less fun for everyone.
2.) To make extreemly long jumps and add alot of fun to surfing, change the servers sv_airaccelerate setting
to 100 (default 10).
