How to make a clan?

Im kinda a noob at clan making so i was wondering if uo could tell me how to make a clan and what i need to start one up?

Definately THE most important aspect of Clan-making is the members.
I mean, when I started out the official Halflife2.net Clan, I just tried the easy way out and hired some dolphins, under the assumption that they, being the cleverest creatures on earth, could play. But a lack of opposeable thumbs seemed to stop them killing things...

So I hired some humans instead. Fat lot of good they were, eh? ;)

Just so you know, 90% of clans that start fail. And if you can't figure out how to make a clan, I can guarantee you won't do any better than those that do and still fail. Put a little more gaming experience under your belt before you try to run a clan. It's not easy.

Or rather than start your own, why not try to join an existing one. That will give you the best insight into how it all works.

Yeah, and then work your way up to the top. but don't try and start a mutiny, or you'll get killed... Or at least my opposers did. :naughty:

I have started quite a successful but have a few members that really suck, so i introduces the ranking system. but now i have recruited some crap people. they are nice and so am i so how do i go about letting them go? (putting them in the furnace) my clan is more of a social clan though. my website is www.team-747**** (http://www.team-747****) :O i have a server but that is only due to one of my (Rich) Clan members paying for it by himself and no i dont want him to go. i myself am 14... quite young i suppose but i have frigging 11 yr olds in my clan... i had no idea they were that young god damn! :angry:

OR

You could devise some less obvious way, like making every current member having a re-trial for the clan, but in the end only boot the ones you wanted to leave in the first place.

OR

Ignore them. Don't tell them when clan practice is, or when you're playing games. Block them from messenger.

OR

Kill them.

I'm kidding, don't do any of these, apart form the first one.

Like Some Of You Have Said, You Should Join An Existing Clan 1st, To See What Clans Are Like...Then MABYE After About 4 Months Exp. Make Your Own Little Clan, Still Don't Be Sure That Will Be Enough. I Mean A Bunch Of People Have Been Playing More Than A Year. (Me, About 1 Week, But I Still Own Everyone...Just About, At Half-life2 DM)
Yeah The Best Way To Let Someone Go Is To Just Say "Get Your Sorry A** Out Of The Clan". Well You Get The Idea... ;)
