"Microsoft hails Half-Life 2" as stated in an article by Yahoo. (http://biz.yahoo.com/prnews/030910/sfw045_1.html) They say Half-Life 2 will take advantage of the capabilities and features by Microsoft’s DirectX 9 (http://www.microsoft.com/windows/directx/default.aspx)
