Support, Problems, Downtime
If there's any problems with the servers such as dodgy map rotations, downtime, connection errors, lag, etc. Please post a thread in this forum or contact me at munro@halflife2.net.
Contacting Server Admins
If there's a player misbehaving on the servers then please contact an admin to deal with him/her. You can do this by joining our IRC channel #cs-source on irc.quakenet.org and speaking to an OP.
So far the current admin list is:

If no admin is available take evidence yourself by screenshots or demos making sure you have the persons STEAMID (status in console).
Server Rules and Guidelines
You must own a licensed copy of the game, unless the game is a demo or shareware/freeware
Nicknames are not registered within each game therefore the choice of nickname is the player's decision. However, inappropriate nicknames such as abusive or swear words are not permitted
Do not use profanity or sexually explicit language
Do not engage in personal attacks
Do not abuse someone because of their race, colour, sex, or religious beliefs
Do not provoke others or cause trouble. If you wish to argue with people make use of ICQ, email or PM on IRC
Be forgiving of other's mistakes
Do not flood or spam chat of any description; this includes repeated use of capitals
Do not post URLs that point to inappropriate content, such as pornography, illegally distributed software, cheats or virus applications
Do not use offensive or pornographic decal/logo sprays
Do not cheat on the servers; this includes game specific exploits
Do not access map areas that are not intended to be reached or break the map in anyway whatsoever; this includes causing the balance of the map's game play to sway in your team's favor
Do not idle on a server. Discretion will be exercised and it is up to the admin to decide if the player has been idling for too long
Do not be abusive towards admins
Deliberately using map features or architecture to kill your teammates will be classed as team killing
No unsporting conduct e.g. blocking doors and preventing map objectives from being accomplished
Definitions
(1) Cheating: Cheating is defined as any method used to gain an advantage not available to normal players. This definition includes any form of aim-bot, speed cheat, spiked models.
(2) Bug abuse: This is defined as the willful use of known bugs in the engine and mod. A map bug is defined as using any area of the map where you can see outside the maps’ visible area, i.e. you can see the bottom of the skybox.
(3) Disruptive and Abusive Behaviour: Any activity by a player that disrupts or spoils the enjoyment of the game for other players. This includes (but is not limited to), repeated spamming, repeated verbal abuse, use of expletives, door blocking and voice comms spam. Disruptive play does not include "camping" but does include derogatory or offensive names of players.
(4) Racism: Racism is defined as defaming or insulting a person or group of people based on national, ethnic, geographic, or religious background. There is no place for racism in the world and it is not acceptable in the game. The same applies to sexism.
(5) Abuse to an Admin: Opposition to the activities of an admin whilst fulfilling his duties and the most obvious forms of abuse, racism, “verbal” abuse etc
Halflife2.net reserves the right, to use third party programs to scan players' computers when using Halflife2.net servers.
Note: At all times the admin's word is final. Additionally a warning from a player is as good as a warning from an admin.
