wtf? how come my friends list isn't working correctly? this problem has been presnt for over a year, why haven't they fixed it yet?

Who knows.. it seems to be perpetually broken.. was going to have chatrooms once upon a time actually.. and games too (like chess)

It did in beta, not chat rooms but it did have games and come to think of it, it worked perfectly in steam beta, been busted ever since its official release.

I'm looking forward to the friends list being fixed, but in the interim, a very good third party program can be found here (www.xfire.com)

Hmm, come to think about it. I do seem to remember it kinda working WAYY WAYYY WAYY back in the early beta?

Yah I think, I remember when first beta came out the first thing I immediatly loved about steam was the friends list and it worked 100% of the time that I used steam.
