Hello.
I'm stuck here. I have to control the bugs woth bugbait and i did. But what should i do next? there are a couple of wood logs standing in my way..and i don't know what to do.

If you go up to the wood barrier the alient that taught you how to use the bugbait will open it for you.

He expects you to summon the ant lions by using your alternate fire button.... right click is default. Then he will open it for you.

thanks for the asnswers, but it still doesn't work.
I'm staying in front of those logs, pushing right click and nothing happens. I remember, when that alien asked me to go there to practice with my bugbait, he said "follow me", but he didn't move :)
I had to use that antigravity gun with a barrel. I put the barrel in front of him and I jumped over. It's a problem? HELPPPP!!!

Well...hopefully you have a quicksave or an autosave near the entrance to the Vortigaunt camp? If so, load it up and play from there. If not, I suggest you use the chapter selection to start Sand Traps over again. Might be a pain in the butt, but it might be the only way.
