After talking with Dekstar in another thread, the subject of forming a clan came up. I suggested that the clan could kick off with a match with one of Halflife2.net's teams......

1.) My mate from PCWorld is getting back to me soon but things look good.

2.) Contacted Alienware and tried to blaga laptop as a prize..... it's going to the CEO for a decision......

3.) I'm offering a prize of a spare 1/2Gig bit of ram i've got.....

Me and Dek will decide what the prizes will be for.......in the interests of sportmanship, what the prizes are for and who they go to will not be revealed until after the match....

Trying to get what i'm now calling Open Range Clan Matches sponsered so hopfully we will be able to get our own server soon..... my idea is to have pre-arranged drop in clan matches..... random players vs an established clan........could work....

Which is exactly the more reason to play as a team. It's to test reliability and... Loyalty. I for one would LOVE that alienware, or even the RAM. But I would rather work as a total team than mess everything up by rushing alone hoping to get a few lucky kills.

And hopefully none of you lot will try that either. If you don't work as a team, you're as good as cannon fodder.

Edit: Besides, I probably don't even deserve the laptop, since I'm lazy and don't even have a job to try and earn money. and my PC is good enough for now, so I'd rather someone who really deserves it has it, rather than me. ^_^

As you can see, I'm 2nd place in my Team in all of them. And as I said before, I'm much harder competition when playing in clan matches. Pub servers aren't good places to judge skill.

Meh, to be honest, I don't care if you think you can beat us. For one, if you do actually manage to beat me, then you'll be facing the rest of Alpha (When you fight them) who will be right behind me.

And you might not even get past Bravo, since you'll be facing the likes of Ecthelion, and YaWn, and even Shifty.

So I think I'm pretty safe in the knowledge that our clan win ratio will be going up, not down.

I would like to join the clan taking on HL2.net. I know you all dont know anything about me but I would like a shot to show you that I am a pretty good player. I think audiophile may have played a few game with me. I want to take on a challenging team , and if you want to give me a shot all I need is a time or IP for a tryout.

I would like to join the clan taking on HL2.net. I know you all dont know anything about me but I would like a shot to show you that I am a pretty good player. I think audiophile may have played a few game with me. I want to take on a challenging team , and if you want to give me a shot all I need is a time or IP for a tryout.

Sanspider if you check our own forums the ip is at the top of the page, also Soldier of fortune that sounds good but we might have a problem with the players on your team from the US getting a decent ping ect because although i know you get a reasonable ping on the servers it might just turn into a l-----a-----g F---e----s----t but a gd idea
