Breen escapes!

Ok im shooting those energy balls at Breen, im hitting green spinning thingies i hear 2 thunder like sounds and thats it, he escapes. I mean great game so far but how do i beat that map (I assume its the last map). Can anyone help me with this?

Do it faster? :) You're not being quick enough, try getting to the top of the chamber quicker.

yea don't worry about combine troopers or gunships
it's really unlikely you'll die, just go as quick as possible
I missed a few lifts and I still did it in my first try, it's pretty easy for a last level

Thanks guys i finally beat it :afro: Basically i missed that last elevator that leads to the top level where you meet with 2 gunships
Anyway great game, probably the best single player game on pc i have ever played. BUT I absolutely loved ending. I hate happy ending hollywood crap. This is the way to end a game. Good job Valve.

To be honest I didn't get what G-Man was saying at the end but I loved every minute of it :naughty:
So G-Man mentioned time and so I assume there's some time warp going on hmmm... I dunno great game I had so much fun. Bring on HL3 :smoking:

To be honest, I always keep skipping back to the savefile I have right after I destroy the machine, just so I can watch good ol' G-Man again.

I think I actually was able to shoot down the gunships with singularities(that is what they are, right?), but it's not necessary.

Actually, I'm curious as to exactly what happens if you fail to destroy the portal. I intended to see for myself, but Breen was frankly taking far too long for my liking...

It was actually pretty easy to kill them.
