Help Please, Stuck Late on!

I have been on trip on the cable car, and had my weapons taken away, carried on going then came to a bridge with loads of baddies and a strider at the end! Killed the baddies! How do I kill the strider?

Do you see any energy beams? if so use the gravity gun to pick up the energy things from the beam and shoot them at the strider. I could be wrong but I think there is a way to avoid fighting the strider. I could help you more accuratly if you have a screenshot.

alternatively you could just run below the strider, suck the energy orbs that power the forcefield on the left and jump down to the hallway. no fighting involved;)

I grabbed scanners that flew by and shot them at the strider. Only took a few hits.

Yeah, if your playing on EASY mode, the strider is almost dead before you get there! just a couple hits with the golden, energy orb thingys and down he goes!

He's tougher on DIFFICULT (Uhhhhh... did I say that???)

If you are where i think that you are.
That strider is behind a window.
Underneath that window are some grenades.
Just pick them up and throw 1 into the window.
Should be enough to blast him out.
