OK, first time I played today...

Lag aside:

OMFG. THIS IS SO F*CKING FUN! IT'S SO AWESOME. I LOVE THIS.

Yes, there is noticeable lag, I tried two servers, but still, I had a f*cking good time and I'm inviting my friends over tomorrow so we can play on my projector.

One thing though Valve, we need fast weapon switch AKA CS:S style! In CS I can move my mousewheel and it'll fast switch my weapons, I need that so badly in HL2DM and HL2. (And don't tell me to "enable fast weapon switch" in the options, I did that)

Only thing that needs to be fixed is the annoying lag. I don't know how laggy people were by the end of the round, but when I joined it was decent.

And people were complaining about the speed of the game? It's as fast as HLDM. :cheers: I got 74 kills, top was 103.

there is a fastswitch. go to options, keyboard, advanced... and it's right there along with enabling the console :)

Though yeah, the lag can be a problem, but all is well if you can find a stable, low-ping server. Then's the game's even better.

Dude, thanks! That bug has been annoying me for some time, but I'd never get up the nerve to e-mail them, I just assumed it would get fixed some time.

Are you joking? I'm guessing you've never tau jumped/bunnyhopped have you? I'll gladly disprove you if you want me to in HLDM.
