By the way how can you tell what are decent servers and what are rubbish ones?

wait until fully dedicated servers are up and running, you will see a drastic difference.

Aye, I was forced to play on US servers and ping was at 200 all the time. Fuxing laggy but I also owned considering heavy lagging. It was fun though, running around in Metrocop outfit.

You just have to play in them for the most part. With most games I usually check which server gives me the best ping in the server browser then I make my final judgement after I've played a round or two. However I connected to several servers where I was pinging >70 in the browser after I connected though my ping was ~200 :hmph:

Right now I'm just trying to find a server where I can at least tolerate the lag.

It was very laggy last night I could barely play but I got into some servers this morning where the ping was around 50-75 and it was very fun. A tiny bit of lag but overall it was fine.
