edit: just watched them. Buggy seems really nice. Strange that there's nobody sitting inside it. Looks like this HL2DM is still pretty basic and rather unfinished. I hope we'll have huge combine vs resistance battles CTF style pretty soon.

I haven't played yet, but from what I've read it depens on the server you join. Obviously there aren't many servers up at the moment so lots of people are gonna end up on a server half way across the world from them, hence laggy. Some people have reported perfect gameplay.

Yeah, its fine, unless the server has around 20+ people on it.
I played on a few servers with 50ping earlier.

I think they just wanted to get it out the door fast, so we'd all be happy. They're bound to work on it much more in the next few weeks/months, including more maps. And I guess you've seen the competition on the front page.

I can't believe there have been no screens of gravguns and toilets yet!

It's kinda tricky to play the game and take screenshots at the same time.

I'm not finding it too laggy at the moment, but most of the low ping servers are full up all the time. You really have to be quick off the mark when someone leaves a game.
