[rant] Uncourtiouse Players in b33f servers

I am now a regular on the HL2.net servers some of you may have seen me on. I am sorry to say this but the biggest load of stupid "l33t" players were on one of the B33f servers tonight. I am on 56k and find it bad hard enough to play then the last thing I want is a load of sad players thinking they are better than me and the team I was on because they were beating is (with 2-3 extra players people kept quiting and i don't blame them). Oh yes it was "rush them with AK's and call them n00bs for not having enough players to hold us back" night tonight.

I am sorry I have to write this as on the whole players on the b33f servers have been very helpful and nice not minding the occaisnal lag spikes i bring (living in rural dorset does not help for my ADSL chances hurry up may 2005), but I just find this sought of behavior ruins the game for me and im sure others.

You share this sentiment with every other CS player on the earth. We live with it.

While 56k was acceptable with old CS, you really can't play source on dialup.

hey, well I was playing earlier today when a "l33t wannabe" started to spam "OMG u're so noobish team" etc. Luckely he didn't stay on the server for that long.

Anyway what I'm trying to tell is. I hope u keep on playing on the halflife2.net servers. The more normal people ( that would be people who play this game to have fun and not insult others for there amusement) stay on the server, the less of these "l33t guys" joins up.

so, hope to see u playing on the halflife2.net servers one of these days :)

While 56k was acceptable with old CS, you really can't play source on dialup.

As long as u have fun playing cs source with u're 56k, u should keep playing it.
