Half life movie.

In no way do I want a Half-Life movie... But if there was, who would you want as the actors?
I caught up on this at eurogamer's little forum, and decided to bring it over here.

EDWARD NORTON = Gordon
Matthew Broderick = Barney
Doctor kenner (forgot his name) = A bald Robbin WIlliams (I can't of anyone who would be decent palying him)
Eli = ?Denzel washington? ?lawrence fishburne? Can't think of anyone for him either.
Alyx = NOT Halle Berry. if they did. I would go hl2 on their asses.
dr breen = ?joe pantoliano?
hmmm.... who else, and if you can think of anyone better for any of these characters, feel more than obliged to correct me~~~~~

Charlie Sheen in The Arrival is a dead ringer for Gordon Freeman, I would use him. I'd get the guy who played Agent Smith and the king of the Elves in LOTR be the G-Man.

Somehow I see Leslie Nielsen as the clumsy doctor. As for Dr Breen, How's Christopher Walken or Donald Sutherland?

there was a thread a few days ago about this, but it doesn't matter.

I would cast the guy who did the voice of Eli Vance as Eli Vance... don't remember his name, but he looks EXACTLY the same as Eli and obviously sounds the same. He was the executive guy in Sports Night, a great comedy show from a few years ago.

Christopher Walken is who I had in mind for the G-Man as well... he's just perfect for it.

Barney... that's difficult. Can't think of that now.

Same with Gordon, can't see who would play him... it would be weird seeing Gordon anyway, wouldn't feel like Half-Life.

Now, for Alyx, I want to say Kirstin Dunst because she is soooo hot, but that wouldn't work at all. I really couldn't cast anyone for her.

I can see Edward Norton playing as Gordon but the only thing is that his voice is too high for what I have always pictured freeman as having.
Colin Farrell as Barney?!? hahahalololol, the only reason they picked him is because he did the SWAT movie. Matthew Broderick would be perfect.
As long as VALVe keeps a close eye on the production and script and not let the license go to crap (Unlike the horrid Doom movie in-production)...then I am thumbs up for this movie and can't wait.

they should do it like the final fantasy movie in 3d cgi and have the voice actors from hl2 do it, it would probably be better that way and people would see that 3d cgi doesnt just need to be cartoony. also it would bring the hl story to more people

I hate to get off of the topic in my own thread.... but FM 99 rocks. Except for Sonja. Mike & Bob on 96X rock them more.

Oh, and I concur with that link given that the guy from The Professional should be gregory. even if he isn't 100% the same stature/body composure.
