I was cleaning up my HD and i came across this beauty my uncle took when he was on holiday a couple of years back. Just thought i'd share the moment :)
Sorry its only at 1024x768, i made it into a wallpaper and lost the original (its ok for me, perfect for my desktop :P)

lol
Yea you can tell by the water that the pic is fake.If your "uncle" took that picture he would be standing on ground near by.But water don't ripple like that when near a bluff or coast.Due to the fact that the water would be hitting the bluff and kinda bouncing backward causing "white water" near by.Sorry about the technical speak :)

:P i downloaded terragen tonight, fancied a nice sunset scene
And whats to say my uncle wasnt on a boat? And that boat had been anchored for about 2 hours and was moving with the waves......
Well that boat must be a freaking tall boat then because it looks like that pic was taken about 100ft up.

Ok ok, i'll admit it, my uncle was on a cliff with a badass zoom lense :P
I'm pleased with it tho :)
Think you can make me a 1280X1024 version?

He made it a bit blurry so it resembles a real life photo(i think)
:o ...ff.ffake? omg. the grainyness and the blurr made it almost like a real scanned foto. woah.. I am stunned. I must have been real tired when I posted teh first reply. :D :dozey: :imu:

Terragen + about an hours render + film grain filter + gaussian blur = what you see there :)
I had to blur it a bit cos the water was a bit too reflective and it looked like it was a mirror
