Laggy..but not..

Well, pretty much my CS lags really bad no matter what server I go on. My pings are fine, in the 20-50 range, but every 30 seconds or less everything just freezes and appears as they are 2 or 3 seconds later - and me ping stays unchanged. I never noticed this is in the beta, and for the past week or so have just been dealing with it :hmph:

But now, it really is starting to piss me off :( As situations keep coming up where I'm shooting someone, and we both freeze and then I'm dead.

I've got my connection speed set right (DSL>768k - I've got 750k) and I've tried other settings like DSL>250k but still no luck. My specs are fine and I get a constant 50-70fps.

i have this issue as well, and im trying to locate the source of the problem. what modem do you have?

disbale ur firewall and use the windows firewall whilst u are playin source. firewalls have a known problem with source but the windows one seems ok. it fixed that happening on my machine.
