heh it's not my first no, the rest can be found in the wallpaper sectiion of my site, I intended it to be basic or "minimal" that was the target I aimed for, it's best to have one end target before you start anything, like "minimal" or "crazy" or "funny" :afro:

well how long have you been useing ps for?

I like it for its simpleness, there are too many out there that cram the space with too much stuff and colours.

Yes I know the stuff I do is majority-wise, basic, but I've always taken a liking to simplicity and minimalism from my site/wallpapers/general computer use to in real life too, it's what makes organisation and co-ordination so easy and simple for me rather than having multiple things everywhere.

Not all of them, also remember it's overall effect from intial idea not quantity or how long it took to make, that would be unfair judgement based on initial idea for the finished item :)

Yes, it's not 1280, it's not 1024, it's somewhere in the middle and you just have to enable stretching in display properties to fit int on yours if res is different perfectly.

I really like this. I don't care how many special effects there are on a wp, or how long somebody spent on it. If it looks cool, pleases my eyes, and pertains to something I can relate to (HL2!) I will use it on the spot. This one will be my desktop tomorrow. I already just dl'd another for use, so I want to use it for a day or two. I can see this as my desktop for weeks....

heh, 1152 is my resolution too !
mrk, your wp is great (if you didn't check mine out; it's more or less the same: blue-ish colors and the HL² logo centered, very simple)

Heh thanks guys, I'll try and do some more but work and my new toy (sony dsc-p72) means I'll be pre-occupied but nevertheless will hopefully do something else
