Still crashing at a loading screen after fix...

PLease tell me im stupid and help me.... I originally had the problem where Half-life 2 froze up on the loading screen with the blurred cityscape.... I re-verified my files like it said on steam news, and now i get past the blurred screen to the point where i can sort out options and start a new game, when i click new game, it starts to load and after 5 blocks have loaded it just freezes up!
this is driving me crazy!
please please someone out there help me!

Send an error report via the steam support page.Don't forget to attach an msinfo file.

The dudes at Valve ask us to do this.

cool, i have done that already, though not with an msinfo file (whatever that is) does it matter?
should i resubmit?
