do the flames swirl aroun on the video, or are they static, cos on your one BW there is a lot more flames in the area circled on this pic

I changed the levels around to make the flames look better after I flattened the image and the background screwed up a little.

It does give you reference if you want to arrange your icons in a semi circle pattern.

that is fantastic, the fire effect is amazing, may I ask how you got the load screen to the demo hl2? I'm a bit new to all the half life 2 stuff so I'm full of interesting questions.

He just reproduced the loading screen we can see on those new videos. (with Alyx and the normal mapping demo)
