Where to go from here?

I have been playing Counter-Strike for a few months now and am wondering where the road goes from here? Basically I ask in interest in becomming part of a community, specifically a clan. I don't see any clan members actively recruiting on public servers so I really have no way to become involved in one.

I find myself to be a skilled player, but I feel that i'm missing the expirience of part of the game by not becomming involved in a community whom I can play with together. My question is fairly simple, how can I become involved in a clan? When all the ones I see playing in public servers are either not recruiting or only recruit for the league that I have no expirience with - CAL.

For those of you that read this that happen to be looking for an expirienced CS player who is looking for a good community to be a part of, here is some of my information:

Excuse me, but for an experienced CS player, you don't read other threads before posting, do you?

There are currently 7, yes, count 'em, 7, in the "Clans and tournaments" thread alone. There are probably hundreds more already for CSS alone.

I suggest you browse through these recruiting clans, and find which one is best for what you're interested in.
