A request!

Your mission, should you choose to accept it is to recreate the OFFICIAL Half-Life 2 "loading" screen as a wallpaper.

You can see it in the new "wall" demo video from the XSI presentation (sorry I cant take a screenshot from the mpg for some reason). It's just a HL2 logo with fire around it that's all smudged and stuff and a brown background. Shouldn't be very hard to do, but I'm just too lazy.

So, anyone? :)

Of course it is. You will launch Half-Life 2 through a series of console commands. ;)

nice one MASTER, only the red needs to be a BIT brighter and needs to have the same effect as the yellow fire effect has ath the h2 logo

It *might* be the final menu then. But he says it's an older version of the engine so it's just as likely that they might change it. What in particular don't you like about it?

is that the hl2 menu? Oo.. wierd ahhwell.. and yeah.. using commands to open a map is obvious. if they would have pressed new game you would have seen al the stuff they dont want you to see :).
