cheats for steam

i have the steam version is there any cheats out for it yet if so wat are they.

You should finish the game then use them but in console type sv_cheats 1
then type
impulse 101 for all weapons, health, ammo
noclip to be able to fly through walls and the level

To get to console hit esc, options, keyboard, advanced, check box enable console then to open console hit the tilde key ~

Okay, full list of cheats from the game guide (Im not using em til Ive finshed the game however)

Enable the console in the options menu.



Enable cheats by typing 'sv_cheats 1' into the console

god - No damage

buddha - You receive damage but dont die

infinite_aux_power - Grants infinite power for HUD functions (eg sprinting, swimming, flashlight)

impulse 101 - All Weapons & ammo

notarget - Enemies dont attack you

npc_kill - kills any NPC in your target reticle

noclip - Allows you to fly through the world & pass through walls & floors

ch_createairboat - Creates an Airboat

ch_createjeep - Creates the Buggy

impulse 102 - Skulls



Hope this helps.....if you're really stuck though - just ask, people will help you....its a pity to ruin the game by cheating. Once you've completed it then it doesnt matter if you wanna cheat. However each to his own....enjoy.

If you cheat at this game before you finish it on your own, you are depriving yourself of the best single player experience in video game history. You can't take it back and if you don't go to hell for it you'll probably wish you had, because hell would be better than living with the guilt of knowing you had gaming utopia in your hands and you ruined it.

hmm i have the problem, that i can't open the console, even after enableing it in the potions... why is that?

I have the same problem ... in half-life i used to press ² to get the console, but now, even when i press ~ i dotn get anything, can i bind it to another key ?

Yea same problem here....Louen and Jamesko20 Do you have azerty? cos I have...normally ( as u said) its the "²" key -@ the left of 1- OR the "ù" key -2nd key of the lower left of Enter key-

Thanks you so much for the detailed instructions on how to get the console to come up. I've been stuck on the Combine/Jail part were you have to set up the 3 turrets. I've been getting my butt kicked everytime. I've tried to do some of the things I've read in the post but still to know prevail. Thanks again :D
