stuck on very, very first part...

hi,

I am at the very beginning, after Barney tells you to get out of the room (yes, that early). I know it seems like a weird place to get stuck on, but he tells me to go to the plaza. It seems like the only exit from the building is the window, which I jump out of, and then i try to go through the door... but it's stuck? Is that supposed to happen, or is that a bug? What should I be doing?

try pressing the use key 'e'
but if that doesnt work then its a bug or something
