stages of waiting

1st stage= about a month before realease=not realy that botherd about it yet
2nd stage=3-2 weeks before release=excitment kicks in and hype takes place
3rd stage=1 week= negativity, worrying if it will work on my pc, will it come in time, will it be as good as the hype makes out
4th stage= ????

there is also the stage where you think that it is going to be released in a couple weeks but it turns out it will be out in a year and a half.

4th stage: hl2 unlocking and me nervously spilling out a half-empty cup of tea over my keyboard, somehow making my screen explode, sending glass shards into my throad artery causing me to bleed to death while hearing msn make a familiar sound which probably is my most ignorant friend telling me hl2 has finished unlocking on his computer.

The hype has really died down for me atleast, on HL2 but I will still play it obviously.

Think of it this way: HL2 really isn't that special and it's certainly not the second coming of christ, so it's not good enough for the world to blow up. Tune down your hype and everything will be fine, if you're all hyped up, you might get hit by a bus (or a meteor) while running home from school (work, grandma's house, etc).
