MYG*T Tester on our server!

I was playing last night (I was apparently being punished by being made to keep playing CSS all night... Mothers, eh?), and one time, nearly everyone left, and then this MyG*t tester came on and started saying how he was just testing new hacks and cheats. He was using the cracked version too, which now has a patch out (I knew that already) that stops the %n bugs working for cracked users. This is quite disturbing: Here's the proof:

I also have one of his Steam ID's (Blanked out due to certain rules), and think it could be used to maybe I.P. Ban him?

He showed me and the other player Bush a speedhack, and a wall hack which makes everyone's models shine a bright colour through walls. He did, however, say that there are currently no working Aimbots for Source.

Yeah I've seen that before too but the %n crashed him. Also, I don't really see what's wrong with showing his Friends nick either :E Serves him right imho.

Yes, I play practically every level with NV on, it just makes everyone show easier :).

Alec_85, %n didn't crash him because the Warez users have a patch now. Only the really noobish cracked users still crash with that one.

Back to Oxygenetic, The little menu is the "player list". While playing on a server you press esc to go to the main menu, and it should be there on the left bar.

What do you guys think I should do? Email his ID to VALVe? Can't they find his I.P. from that and ban him from his ISP?

as far as i know, cracked users cand make up their own steam account # or something like that, not sure exactly but i htink everthing about them is fake to the steam network,best thing to do would be leave the server when they come on, if everyone did this, who would they **** with? valve will hopefully fix it one day far far in the future.

Nah it was our very own halflife2.net server, and I didn't want to leave because I was having fun with the likes of comatose (He's a dude :)). Besides, learnt a lot in that now I know that some people have patched their versions so some people can make me think they are good honest money spenders, not thieving little whor... people. :).

We should all gather outside VALVe headquarters with pickets shouting "What do we want? VAC 2! When do we want it? NOW!"... Etc.

Also Wrath, They do need real accounts, because they need to do something with the client registry.blob file or something.

Wouldn't it be possible to auto-ban/kick anyone with myg*t in his nick? I don't know how advanced the admin interface is, hell I don't even have cs:s, but if possible it should be an efficient fix until they stop using the tags. Of course a number of 'em would have been banned already by then.

Yeah thing is, I'm on that server for about 6 hours every day (During holidays, about 3 school days - Yes, I don't have a life), but no one gives trusted people like me RCON abilities. I would make a good admin because I like kicking people into shape with my rules :). /joke

Icarus: I've already given the names to Munro, but Feel free to ask him for a copy. There's about 12 names on there.
