but the top of the start menu is a bit cluttered

seems a little 'blurry' but that could just be the quality.

the left edge on "file and folder tasks" seems cut off and the top part of the start menu seems a little 'over-the-top'.

is some of this from the media player skin?

Cool. But i would never use that. To colorfull etc. I like the good old plane xp style.

And is tehre a straight forward exe to install it ?
i hate using things like style xp, windowblinds etc..

I like it! But it might be an idea to colour in the white boxes on the left - they're too reminiscent of the original Windows theme.
