I just had a stellar idea for an avatar. How does one do it? And what are the limitations (how many frames)

One makes each frame and then has a gif making program put them into a single gif ;)

Depending on how much action there is, you can have about 8-10 frames, also depending on how many colors.

If you use Adobe Imageready all you need to do is make 1 frame, then move an object, then just tween the frames to give the illusion of movement. Pretty easy :)

Thanks guys,. Orcone, I used the 'tween' function, pretty neat. But now how do I save it as a GIF? Save As only gives me the option to make a PSD.

Go to File and theres an option to export it as a .gif
Be sure to put it up so we can see it! :P

Sweet,. got it. :) Dig my new avatar. I'll redo it when its time to switch back off of gold.
