Burnout 3?

I'm thinking of purchasing Burnout 3, to keep occupied until half-Life 2 is released, is it worth the money? I was abot to purchase it, but I'm having second thoughts now.

If you're into racing (specifically arcade style) and are a fan of explosions, by all means get it, you'll love it. If you're real uptight about your racing though its not exactly a sim. :D

Yeah the Takedown mode is in MP (but against people. Not the computer. I think.) And yes PS2 has Online support. I play it almost every day at EBGames :E Trying to break the Takedown records. Currently in first place with 65 takedowns.

Edit: Oh and we only play on 1 course with only 1 car (it sucks).

You may want to considr Outrun 2 aswell (which is very cool).

Bunrout 3 is sweet - but after a few weeks i've lost interest (still clccked many hours of playtime though :))

I rented it the other day and it's a great game. The crash modes have a huge replay value and are really fun when you have a lot of people over. I think I will be buying this game soon, it's probably one of better games out for the xbox at this time.

i have burnout 3 on my (new) Xbox. its f*cking class! i love the takedown system, watching my eneimies fly away in a cloud of steel... its like burnout 2, only it feels smoother, faster, more agressive and a hell of a lot more satisfying. 10/10. buy it. now.

Yeah, I really don't like racing games either but everyone was telling me I would like it. So I rent it to prove to them that its just another stupid racing sim and what do you know, the S.O.B.s we're right. It's awsome.

Picked it up today. Great game, love the crashes and the mode road rage. This will keep me occupied until San andreas and Half-Life 2. Thanks for the help guys.
