i have a strange affinity for slow, solemn, sad music :) sparklehorse is often described as "american gothic". considering how many people on these boards like punk and metal, it'll probably drive you all batty, which is why i recommend it :devil:

Really interesting Norwegian band. Blends heavy stuff with norse mythology. Not metal, but more rock-ish.
