This song grew on me after... 21 plays, heh. As did this album. The bass is, at times, phenomenal, and Pridgen pretty handily proves that he's tasteful as well as technically proficient. Lyrics can be a little obtuse or cliched, but are usually fairly good. The album as a whole sounds great. I'd rate it at 4 stars, maybe 4.5.

Much better, as is Guilty Cocker Spaniel. Satellite Skin has that ''single'' feel to it much akin to Float On and it really doesn't do much for me at all.
Lostprophets - A Thousand Apologies
Back some years ago, this band released this album, The Fake Sound of Progress and it blew my mind. It still does now, though not as much, but it's a serious groundbreaking album for my musical taste whilst growing up in high school. Brilliant stuff, just a shame they took a direction for the generic with more recent releases. Really difficult to listen to this and then think how much they changed... sad stuff.

Poisonblack - Rush
Grails - Predestination Blues
Experimental psychedelic instrumental stuff from the US, very soothing for a lazy Saturday. Imagine being stuck inside of a bong whilst four very laid back blokes from the Middle East enjoy the compressed, swirling and bubbling contents. Atmospheric levels are beyond the scale of 'crushing' but there's no downtuned distorted guitars here, just layers upon layers of minimal notes and strings.
Lovely.

Depths of amplifier buzz and fuzz SWARM this band in a shadow of utter heavy. They're heavy today, though not on the same scale as they were on this release some six or so years back. It's just a relentless, angsty torrent of harsh vocals, slabby basslines and finger-bleeding chugga-chugga riffs.

Warped Tour was where i saw them live, my cousin said they were good and also..i have an interesting story to tell. At the Warped Tour i lined up to get autographs and a CD and a hat from them. i handed them a 20 and the clerk gave me 2 tens back and I was shocked but didn't say anything. All that stuff for free and this picture too!

From their score for an old film called Siegfried which I have not seen. Unfortunately I missed when they played the score live to it at a local movie theater earlier this year because it was sold out, and I probably wouldn't have found anyone to take me anyways. I saw them live later on, and they may have played a song from the score... not sure.
Anyhow, this song is nice.

Bitchin! I saw them live a couple years back, the only concert I've ever been to. I didn't get a chance to meet them, there were way too many people and the concert ended at like 2am, but I made it to the front of the stage and rocked out in front of Ian. It was badass, even if I probably looked like an absolute tool for doing it.
