"Buffer overflow in net message" get this error while playing sometimes and get disconnected, annyone know how i can fix this?

Yes, we are getting it to. I unplugged my computer from my Linksys router and ran it directly into the cable modem and that eliminated the problem. Not a good solution though, and I don't have to do that on any other game.

It is cause by some routers blocking certain request. I have a linksys router that originally did not cause a problem for me. I recently updated the firmware and the problem startted to occur. I found that it is because of 3 things that were added to my routers capabilitys and changed my settings. The 3 things you need to make sure are set are below:
Make sure you Disable UPnP
Disable "Block wan request"
Enable "filter NAT redirection"

That should fix the problem

I know this is a old thread but i am getting this error how do i get to those router options? I have a lynksys modem wireless-g cable gateway model#wcg200-cc
