Is there any way to delete my steam account?

i wan't a new account, so the old one is not needet anymore, besides theres nothing important on it!
so i want to save valve the trouble by deleting it myself!
or should i just leave it there!

eh, you wouldnt have much use of it, i've just signded in for the news, theres no cd-key activated or something! used it only twice!
now that i accidentally found my ati voucher i want to have a new account!
