You have to build your own, you start by getting enough wood from chopping down trees and then you have to goto the local saw mill and give them the wood, 2 days later you will have what you need for the main part of the house.

look for the house that is for sale (or kill the owner... it'll go on sale then)

there will be a sign out in front when t's on sale, and then "interact" with the sign.

Hahah build your own. Classic. Sidewinder is right though. There's a nice little sign out front if you can aqquire the property. Look on your little map in the HUD too. It usually shows properties with little house symbols.
