Surly the entire community, not just the ones who have condition zero, would be a better test of the engine.

ie, RELEASE!

Sorry man, but I really couldn't follow the leap in logic..

Actually I'm still thinking this may be coincidence to what they said in hl2.php. But you were right that rc got kicked back,. or at least the CSS portion did a bit.

As for the clear path, I think Sashswash has the right idea

Everyone submit a bug in CSS like this: I have found no bugs. Please make HL2 gold now. Thank you.

It's either the beta was updated with the final version, or the RC was rejected so more testing need be done. don't know for sure, but there were still alot of bugs before....

Possible, but I'm not sure why they'd do this, and why now and not sooner.

if we did not have to buy condition zero to get beta we would, but I'm not buying something I dont like such as cs.

it is the CS:Source Beta in question, not that evil bad thing that was never really out there...so why would you care about helping a CS Beta if you don't like CS, kenny2?
Unless you mean CS:CZ is what you don't like...

Only these two seem like they would affect HL2, though the weapon stacking bug (geez) probably would too, though that would be a "low priority bug." Any player(s) who want to take time and stack weapons in a game deserve whatever crash they get out of it.
