Fable even grossed more money than the No. 1 box office movie last week, Sky Captain and the World of Tomorrow.


Well a repeat of Marry Poppins could probably do that, the film looks terrible.

I'm pretty sure that's just X-BOX sales records, it certainly doesn't go for the PS2 and PC. VC I believe had close to 4 million pre-orders, and PC games like the Sims and StarCraft have probably out performed that figure.

Its got great reviews, IMDB gave it 7.0 which is pretty good. Going to watch it in a few hours.

Yeah, that's just Xbox sales records. Madden sold something like 1.3 million copies in it's first week. But still, 375,000 copies of an RPG on Xbox in one week is nothing to complain about. Well done.

Considering its the second most pre-ordered Xbox game and its been gettin hyped for over 3 years this doesn't suprise me, Xbox games are very top heavy when it comes to sales though.

Same could be said about Half-Life 2, Valve is still a fairly inexperienced development team, I am sure they could easily screw the game up.

That game is beyond boring. Its repetative...nuff said. If that out sells HL2 i'll be surprised. Very surprised. Games like MGS3/GT4/GTA4 will double outsell what Halo2 will.

that's only because more people have a PS2.

and besides, don't fault Halo 2 for mistakes in Halo 1....

i bought halo pc and i could not believe how ugly and old it looks and it just plain sucks.
